What to expect?

We know it can be a little intimidating to visit a church for the first time, so we thought it might be helpful to know what you can expect when you visit. Thanks for checking us out and we hope to see you soon at Our Savior's Church!

What type of church is Our Savior's Church?
Our Savior's Church is a Christian, non-denominational, Bible-centered, Spirit-filled church.

When are Our Savior's Church service times?

Jennings - Sundays at 9:00am & 10:45am

Eunice - Sundays at 9:00am & 10:45am

Crowley - Sundays at 10:00am

How do I get there?
Our Savior's Church meets in three locations.

What are the services like?
Our hope is to reach people and connect them with God and one another. We often hear we’re one of the friendliest churches people have experienced. Our services have an authentic, down to earth feel that invite you to participate at whatever level you feel comfortable. Afterwards, you can grab a cup of coffee and connect with others in the foyer.

What are the sermons like?
Our Pastors communicate with a warm, humorous, and personal style. Each weekend you'll find their sermons are Bible-based, offering practical life guidance rich in wisdom yet easy to understand. Whether you have been following Christ for some time or are curious about what a relationship with God looks like, you’ll feel like our Pastors are talking to you right in your own living room. Our sermons are typically grouped in a 3-4 week series, giving you a comprehensive view of a given passage or topic. (Check out our previous series here).

What kind of music can I expect at Our Savior's Church?
Modern worship is led by our worship team. We strive for musical excellence, but we don’t want to merely put on a show. Rather, we desire that you encounter God in an authentic way during our time together.

What do I do when I arrive?
From the moment you pull onto campus, our parking team and greeters will help you find your way. If you have children, stop by the OSC Kids kiosk located in the foyer. There your child will be registered and given a nametag with a code. You will be given a tag with their unique code so you can be sure you’ll be the only one allowed to pick up your child after service. A greeter will escort you to your child’s class where the OSC Kids Dream Team will welcome your child with open arms. If you don’t have children, grab a cup of coffee in the lobby and head into the worship center. If you have questions, stop by the Guest Services Area in the Lobby. Our Guest Services will be happy to help you.

What is appropriate to wear in church?
Whatever you normally wear. We are more concerned with meeting you than with what you wear. At Our Savior's Church, you'll see nearly every style of clothing, from casual to business professional.

Your Kids
At Our Savior's Church, children are a priority. We consider it an honor to encourage and equip parents to invest in the next generation (Proverbs 22:6). Our Children's Ministry, called OSCKids, is a safe and fun environment for kids to grow in their relationship with God and others.

We prioritize children because we understand they are a gift from God (Psalm 127:3). As a church, we know that we are developing tomorrow's leaders by sowing biblical truths into their hearts. Children naturally want to know they have a significant purpose in life and our hope is to see each child fulfill that God-given purpose. It's never too early to start learning about God and His love for us!

OSCKids offers the following programs for children:

  • The Ark (Babies - 2 years olds)
  • Reignforest (2 & 3 year olds)
  • Quest Jr (4 & 5 year olds)
  • Quest (1st - 5th Grade)

What if my children need me while I'm in the service?
Each week when your child checks in, you will receive a security tag. On that tag will appear a unique code. If your child needs you during the service, your child's code will appear on the main screen in the Worship Center.
